Nobel Oil, as part of its corporate social responsibility programme, supported children in need in Ganja, Azerbaijan, in partnership with SOS Children's Villages.
Nobel Oil has given SOS Children's Village financial aid in order to provide sports equipment and musical instruments for deprived children. The gifts were presented to celebrate Novruz, Azerbaijanis' ancient spring festival.
Visiting the SOS Children's Village in Ganja, Michael Wring, Chief Executive Officer at Nobel Oil said: 'As a company operating in Azerbaijan, we think it important to support young generations in this country, because young people of various social backgrounds will be the backbone of the country's development in the years to come'.
In his turn, SOS Children's Villages Ganja Project Director Yashar Gojayev thanked Nobel Oil for its continuous support: "We really appreciate this assistance coming from the private sector. This contribution from Nobel Oil will help the children in this SOS Village lead healthy life-style and realise their talents'.
Nobel Oil has been supporting SOS Children's Villages since 2012 and contributed to its projects in the capital, Baku and the country's second largest city, Ganja.
Nobel Oil is committed to supporting the country's future generations and works with international organisations in promoting education and innovative thinking amongst Azerbaijan's youth.
Enerso Jabrayil Signed Key Agreements to Accelerate Clean Energy Transition
We are pleased to announce that on June 2, during Baku Energy Week, Enerso Jabrayil signed several key agreements—a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), a Transmission Connection Agreement (TCA), a Land Lease Agreement, and a Balancing Agreement. These agreements are part of the framework established under the Investment Agreement signed with the Ministry of Energy on April 4, 2025, for the development of the 50 MW ‘Ufug’ (Horizon) Solar Power Plant in the Jabrayil district.
