On the 21st of July, 2016, specialist onshore and offshore fabrication company SDL Nobel registered as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in Azerbaijan.
Registering as an LLC is the latest step in SDL Nobel’s process of long-term activity in the region. It is an important development for the local market, as it demonstrates the company’s strong Azerbaijan focus, and their commitment to improving their effectiveness in the region.
SDL Nobel has been providing support services to the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan through its branch office since 2002, and will now have the opportunity to expand its operations through such regional tenders.
SDL Nobel is a joint venture company between Denholm Oilfield Services and Nobel Oil Services (UK). The company employs more than 160 specialists, and serves a number of Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) operators. Its services include the fabrication and installation of structural steelwork, and upgrades of offshore facilities and pipe work systems (as well as high pressure flow lines, vessels, tanks and related packages).
Through the expanded activity that registering as an LLC will provide SDL Nobel, the company will be able to make a strong contribution to the development of the region. This will include the advancement of existing technologies, a greater influx of specialists operating in the area and the expansion of local capabilities.
