PROKON LLC successfully delivers Ammonia and Urea Complex Project

Nobel Oil Services is pleased to announce that PROKON LLC has accomplished 95% of mechanical works, 99% of structural steel erection works, 100% of concrete works at Ammonia and Urea Complex.

PROKON LLC as a General Construction Contractor of the Project works with Samsung Engineering Co., Ltd., EPC Contractor, involving approximately 2500-3500 workers from various disciplines during the construction phase. Within the Project PROKON LLC has been delivering excavation, backfilling, concrete, building, piping, structural steel erection, E & I, painting, insulation and other services.

As a part of its integrated construction services PROKON LLC operates its fabrication yard in Baku, Azerbaijan to accommodate the requirements of the Complex. Current fabrication yard capacity is about 330 MT (metric tons), including 120 MT of support and 210 MT of steel construction; as well as 400 MT of light steel manufacturing and 600 MT of heavy steel manufacturing. PROKON LLC provided more than one hundred new job places for nationals to gather a professional team including welders, pipefitters, platers, riggers, QA & QC engineers.

PROKON LLC is one of a few local construction companies capable to deliver large-scale downstream facilities in the country. One of its main projects is the construction of Ammonia and Urea Complex in the area of 39.27 ha in Sumgayit, Azerbaijan. Construction of the Complex will be completed by the end of 2017 and the start-up is expected to take place in early 2018. The Plant is designed to produce 1200 tons of ammonia and 2000 tons of urea per day.
